This is located on the level of the resort offering: continental breakfast buffet, full breakfast buffet and a la carte menu.The Lift: This is a coffee shop and grab n go food store that is open daily from 6:30am to 10:00pm. Appaloosa: This elegant restaurant is open for dinner nightly, serving the finest Colorado comfort food. From innovative spa cuisine to the finest prime beef this side of the Rockies along with an award winning wine list honored by wine spectator, Appaloosa promises to become your favorite "high altitude" restaurant.The Great Room: The Great Room serves a variety of dishes, specialty cocktails and Colorado micro brews in a cozy, relaxed environment. Snow Skiing
We offer the ultimate ski-in/ski-out location in the heart of the prestigious Telluride Mountain Village. With over 1,050 acres of skiable terrain, the mountain caters to skiers and snowboarders to all levels. Rental equipment and a ski shop are located in the resort. A complimentary ski valet to heat and tune boots over-night and assist with equipment storage is just another reason why staying at The Peaks is so special.
Golf
Telluride Mountain Village Championship Golf Course-the first and 18th holes of the course are located right outside The Peaks. The course provides 18 holes in spectacular setting surrounded by 14,000-foot mountain peaks and alongside multi-million dollar vacation homes. The course is relatively short, because the altitude - 9,400 feet above sea level - and is a special test of your golf skills. The balls really do fly 15% farther here. The course is open from June 1 to October 15 Facilities include a pro shop, clubhouse, practice putting greens and a driving range. Yards: 7,009 Par: 72. The course is a soft-spike facility. Club rental available.
Tennis
The Peaks has five outdoor plexi-paved courts, professional instruction and a pro shop. Paddle Tennis is also available. - $10 court fee per day
Swimming
Make a splash at 9500 feet. Our spa features a lap pool, an indoor/outdoor pool and a wet and wild slide for adults and children.
Fly Fishing
Experience some of the best fly fishing in Colorado. The San Miguel River is a classic high alpine stream located minutes from the hotel. Both half and full day excursions are available. The guides will pick-up and return guests to the front door of the resort.
Horse Riding
Back to the "old west" with some of our local cowboys. They have gentle horses for gentle people, fast horses for fast people, and for people who don't like to ride, horses that don't like to be ridden. One hour or two hour trail rides are available.
Hiking
Experience the back country wilderness, dramatic peaks and rugged canyons! Our spa guides offer various levels of adventure from beginner to expert. Local trail maps are also available for "on your own" hiking.
Dog Sledding
Whisk across the country side in a six passenger dog sled pulled by an authentic dog team. 2 people and a guide on a sled, may be able to hold 5 or 6 people if there are small children. Half and Full day tours available, travel time to site is 30 minutes. Hot chocolate, cider, muffins and pastries provided. Dress warmly and remember to wear face protection.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoe rentals are available on property if you would like to tour on your own or you can take a free guided tour (Sun-Fri) with the forest services department. The tour goes through the trees and down to the Mountain Village, usually lasting 2 ½ hours. Please bring your own snowshoes.
